Additional Notes
Back in the early 90s, before the final conception of the European Union, many thought that the currency of this new order would be called "ECU". Of course, later on the name would turn out to be the euro. This is a conceptual piece for a "25 ECU" coin cast from Sterling Silver. This piece is known as the "Three Graces" with Faith, Hope, and Charity appearing on the Reverse, and a globe with a map of Europe edged by twelve stars representing the twelve member states, with Neptune and Europa reaching across the top on the Obverse.
